“This is so fun!” Elisabeth exclaimed as she and Kenneth danced down the stone path just after being pronounced husband and wife. Indeed it was! In his toast to his new bride later that evening, Kenn explained that the key to their relationship’s success is having fun. So it was fitting that this small gathering for a garden ceremony and barn reception at Kennebunkport’s stunning Hidden Pond was full of fun all day long.

We started at a spacious new rental home in Kennebunk center where Elisabeth’s beloved pup Sully and two nieces kept all entertained (the oldest celebrated her 5th birthday this very day). After a sweet first look on the dock, we boarded a trolley and made the cross-town breezy trip to the resort. Overcast skies created a cozy, romantic setting for the (again) fun vows which included references to OshKosh B’gosh overalls and school term papers from Elisabeth’s childhood friend who married them.

Dinner kicked off in the barn with a memorized rap by Kenn’s best friend, easily one of the most (you guessed it!) fun I have heard recounting their relationship’s progression. Family-style dinning kept all engaged at their tables before the dance floor opened for the evening.

Thank you two, your families and (lol) fun friends for making my first wedding at Hidden Pond a memorable one! Best wishes!! xo
